Ed wrote music for radio and television for over 12 years prior to
coming to Grace Matters. He is currently on the Faculty of
Columbia College Chicago, where he teaches audio-for-visuals within
the Film School. Hoke holds a BA from Roosevelt University, and is
pursuing an MA from DePaul University. |

Ava oversees Grace Matters as well as other ELCA public media
ministries including Davey and Goliath, and programming for

The Rev. Barbara Berry-Bailey had a
successful career in public broadcasting prior to ordination in the
ELCA and has served congregations in Pennsylvania and metropolitan
Chicago. |

Dixie maintains the
Grace Matters
donor database, processes and records donations, and updates the
Grace Matters
radio schedule list. She manages the monthly mailing lists for our
stations, our listeners, and our subscribers to the program CDs and
transcripts. She also ensures that our ELCA missionaries and
chaplains receive CDs of the programs every month. Dixie began
working for
Grace Matters
(Lutheran Vespers) in February 1988. |

Susan began working for the ELCA Department for Communication in
1988. She started producing Lutheran Vespers when Walt Wangerin
became speaker in 1994. She took over the Director's
responsibilities in 1998. |

Tracie is responsible for the development and maintenance of the
ELCA website including the
Grace Matters
website; content updates, podcasting, and design. She began working
with the Grace Matters team in 2006. |
